I'm pretty new to fishing so need advice from you old timers. I re spooled my reel with the above, I went out yesterday. The line itself never seemed to straighten out, there was always a bow in the line, instead of tight lines? It's seemed to stretch almost. Did I spool it wrongly? Am I using incorrect line? Will it correct itself?

Seems you loaded the line wrong.
If it's curling in upon itself it's definitely loaded wrong.
When loading line put the label side up on the spool hold tight line when reeling it on
I'd it start to bend / curl turn over the spool.

Thanks Deise Boy. I've never had this problem before, I didn't have anyone holding the line side, presume this fudged things up?

that is decent budget line but i find the brown sensor better than the orange when spooling up throw a penn or pencil threw it and have someone hold a nice tension on it for you or buy a spool holder

I would normally have someone hold it, but there was no one in and I got impatient. So kinda made a make shift surface to hold it in place. Any recommendations of line then hit me up, I bought the orange for visibility.

Just a quick update on this particular line, I re-spooled it again to the same effect. Can only imagine the line was somehow defective to begin with. Also seemed a lot heftier than 15 pound line.

best thing to do with that line is to walk the length of a field or beach and let all the line out.then using a cloth reel it back on the reel under tension.this will take all the twists out of it.in future when you are loading mono on a reel leave the spool in a bucket of warm water for 15 mins.this softens the line and helps it sit right.
