Does these Northly wind directions for Sat/Sun reduce the chances of catching a Bass?

Was still a lot of weed around last weekend you should ask some of the lads down that direction what its like before you drive all the way down

Yes longer periods of cold offshore winds will reduce chances. This time of year you might just get that one special fish.
Currently the weed on the south coast is not too bad at all and will improve with N and NE winds forecast in the coming days.

On this note. Is there anyone who could give a general run down of the winds and how they affect coasts and fishing. I mainly fish the east coast and know that an easterly or north easterly or even notherly will basically knock out my plans for fishing.
But could someone give me a rough idea does this affect other coast differently. I was hoping to get out his weekend myselg but looking at winds and directions on Accuweather and Met.ie I had basically ruled out going but above I see that the wind would clear the weed on other coasts. Im not fishing for anything in particular but just wanted to get out.
So I suppose my question here before my babbling in the above paragraph was can someone maybe give me an explanation of wind direction affecting fishing on the different coasts of Ireland.
Thanks
Martin
