Hi,
Just a quick one. Thinking of heading to Galway aftersome ray. Is there anywhere close to the City that produces. Also have I missed the boat on this species and left it to late.
Any help on this would be great please PM me if you dont particulary want to share with everyone.
Regards

Cheers will prob be connemara then. Well my intention was to fish a one hool trace with a long snood of heavy line to maybe a 2/0 or 3/0 hook using squidd and sandeel.
Am I on the right line tackle/bait wise.

The white lady in Clifden. It's a 15 minute trek from the little pier at Errislannan, but there's plenty of Thornbacks there. 3/0 on a pulley rig with Mackerel bait.

Clifden isn't fishing as good as usual at the minute
I fish it at least every 2nd week and it's gone fairly slow
Plenty of those f-in doggies but ray have gone very quite
As for tide I got them on all states of it
Pm me when ur thinking of coming and I'll let u know what is like
Might save u a spin
