wicklow/waterford/wexford mackerel

Going out on my last mackerel session of the year this weekend. Didnt go fishing since 3 weeks where i went to ardmore co waterford (got 22 mackerel 3 pollock). Are they still around ? Where would be best to try in the wexford/waterford/wicklow area ? I was thinking of rostoonstown co wexford , would that be any good ?
