Cork marks

Tue Sep 10, 2013 9:21 am

Hi lads, I'm a Dub, living in Cork city for work at the moment, and I'm looking to find a couple of spots within a half hour's drive of cork city for a bit of mackerel fishing, if anyone has some pointers I'd be very grateful! Alex

What side of the city are you based

Mackerel are getting a bit thin but try the Quays in Cobh around high water.

As the dominator said, try cobh.
Another spot worth trying is the rocks at fountainstown towards high water. The further up you walk the less differance the tide makes.
Monkstown pier might have a few too but again high water
