Cunnigar road

Hi lads just wondering about the cunnigar that track is it drivable or do I have to do the long walk thanks

Made that walk once :shock: .... Vowed never to do it again, I knew having a fuel heavy 4x4 would come in handy one day :mrgreen:

kev there is a berrier stoping you get onto the track we go down in the jeep and time it that the water is still out enough so we can drive the beach down to the end or werever we deside to fish but if he has to walk it the rewards can be worth the long track on a good day best fished on the spring tides

the road to the small pier under the Golf Club is another way around that problem. I always park my car there, waders on and off you go, a few good rocky spots from there as well. Much handier than by the oyster trestles, you're halfway up there already and if it's getting a bit hairy a nice shortcut to safety.

Well I walked it anyway and my god what a walk I still have aches in the back of my legs . Plenty weed out there and no fish either so I think ill stick to the handier places from now on
