Newbie/Fethard On Sea/Hook Head

Hi All,

Appreciate any pointers anyone can give to any good marks in above areas. I recently returned to fishing in this area about 20 years since I used to fish here when I was a kid.

4 unsuccessful fishing trips later I'd appreciate any advice on locations and what type of lures, rigs etc. Remember catching macks and pollock off feathers when we were young alright but nothing so far this time around.Routed out a lot of the old fishing gear so have a couple of rod and reel combos and know the area pretty well but so far drawing blanks.
