Ballycotton Cork

Will be fishing in ballycotton cork for a couple of days soon and was wondering what species of fish I would be likely to catch while bait fishing with mackeral or lure fishing would be hoping to fish for bass pollack wrasse or conger and if any knows any good beaches or rock marks or places to get bait it would be greatly appreciated pms welcome.

probably not a good time to go bait fishing down there. Will be packed with people mac bashing. Have had flouder and some pollack there in the past. Lots of conger/dogfish around aswell. lots of rocky areas so if you want the minispecies, scorpion fish they are all present aswell

For wrasse and small pollack try under car park at the pitch and putt club. Calm conditions needed here.
