hello to all you anglers. went beachcasting the other day. in a hope of catching mackerel from the beach. no joy. after casting lots of times for 10 casts later my casting finger got sore.
ive been looking at the cannon. that fits on the rod. or the casting glove finger protector. has any anglers tried any of these. any thoughts.
thanks

I was only talking about this myself yesterday....my casting technique is improving and taking chunks outta my index finger in the process! I asked a man in the know and was told to check my local chemist for a finger stall....€2 i picked 1 up for....cheap as chips and protects my finger perfectly! I saw thumb stalls aswell if ur of the multilpier persuasion......eitherway u cant go wrong for 2bucks!! Happy casting

A cheapo Golf glove with all the fingers removed except for the index and thump would also be a good idea.

best thing i ever put on a rod it will take a few sessions to get 100% timing but after that you will wonder why you never had one before
