Saleens, Waterford

Has this mark being producing good amounts of bass or cod this year. I was talking to a man (he walks the beach everyday) who said everyone he sees fishing there aren't catching much at all. I've been out there spinning a bit and have yet to catch anything except a stray mackeral. tramore Strand seems to be producing a bit so why isn't the saleens which is so close to it

There is not much been caught in the saleens at present but there was a 12 pound bass caught on the front strand in Tramore the other night a very nice fish indeed and this was caught on lug.
