I am looking for a new pair of chesties and want to get some of the gore tex chesties. Can anyone tell me which are the best brand and where I could get them?
Thanks in advance

Why Goretext Its expensive and is not going to be breathable once the protective layer of Fabric is wet. use a technology that is cheaper and easier to repair when it gets ripped.

Hi Bob,
Thanks for your point, but I know that submersion does not affect goretex - unlike other fabrics.
Cheers

Removed as I was on about neopreone. I must be getting old.

perhaps some of the game fishing places would be your best bet?
the sea angling market seems to be dominated by neoprene and pvc chesties

Funnily enough I received a Cabelas catalogue only a couple of days ago - I think I requested it in April . Some of the gear in there looks fantastic and quite cheap if it really is as good as they say it is but I can't get my brain around the American sizing . I'd be interested to hear of anyone else's experience with them .
All the best.
