I just got a pair of Bison Bearclaw wading boots. I'm fishing on low but very slippery rocks and the grip is incredible on wet and slimmy surface. Only concern is how long they'll last; i'd be very happy with 12 months but at under 50 euro that would be ok for a sure footing. I wouldn't use them if hiking.

you can buy Bison Bearclaw wading boots here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/BISON-BEARCLAW- ... B005AHO9Y6
If they shouldn't suit your needs there are plenty others underneath, got the Klobba Trail Boots off the same seller and can't fault them, fully waterproof, safe and comfortable but I would not want to go on a long walk in them. I bought them for sea fishing of the boat as they have a good grip.
