dont think its the mark pal, ive got cod at my mark and then other days not a cod to be seen, same spot same bait NO COD, my guess is the cod feed in the shore only on particular tides, moon phase and swell, keep at it and they will show one up and u will be on them for the session, ive found they come on early on a rising tide and stop feeding as the tide gets up nice and high, i could be wrong but thats what ive found at my mark, hope that helps

Every Mark i have fished have seen cod being caught

With a lot of offshore winds this winter my guess is that the cod are gorging themselves on sprat, herring , whiting and possibly a few other species in the clear waters around much of our coasts and have no need to come inshore foraging.
I would be much more confident of finding a few decent cod during spells of onshore wind, big swells and dirty seas. Not as pleasant to fish in but way more likely to produce results in my opinion.

yeah 1 or 2 max id say the cod fishing at the moment is very slow
