new hooks...

hey lads,
am doing a bit of tackle shopping soon and i'm lookin to try some new hooks,the main types i have been using for years are various sizes of aberdeen,mustad baitholders and manta extra..have heard alot about circle hooks and the way you let the fish run and set the hook itself instead of striking and manually setting the hook...sounds like a new anticipation before the fight
have any lads used circle hooks on here and how did they fair out with them? or is it a total waste of time..i know if it aint broke dont fix it,but am mad checkin out new roads at the moment...
any replys/info or suggestions on other hooks greatly apprciated

yea I found them grand, better hookup rate than regular hooks. Just make sure u have good forceps

Hay iv used owner ones and didn't get on with them at all,
Maybes I didn't give them enuff time but just didn't like trying to bait them up
After them I tried down sizing hook size and noticed a big increase in hook ups

i have heard they can be tricky to bait but your the second person this week thats told me when they downsized hooks the catch rate went up.
