Hi all,
I'm new enough to sea angling, have been a coarse angler for a long time though.
Recently found out of my friend did a lot of sea fishing competitions back home when he lived in Wexford. So we have now decided to try get into sea fishing in Dublin.
Last thursday we went out to Howth. We fished off the end of the walkway, directly accross from the lighthouse.
Didnt catch much (one very small whitting)
Would we have been better off fishing from the actual pier where the light house is?
Thinking of heading out somewhere Friday night to hopefully catch a bit more.
Any help or guidelines is much appreciated. I understand sea anglers are having the same issues as coarse anglers with regards to fish not being returned etc so I can confirm I am just fishing for sport and if anyone perfers to PM me details please feel free to do so.
Thanks in advance
