Anybody know which is catching better at the moment????

fished both last night had a few whiting off the south beach lost a big fish , kept getting snagged so then went the pier and had a pollock 1.5lb, and more whiting and there was nice rockling being caught off the pier. no weed around last night.

Thanks so much for that, what bait do you use there, I have rag worm for tonight? Any use there? Never been to the pier where do you cast there, hear people talking about a wall????

rag is one of the top baits there ,keep your cast short because most of the fish are feeding very
close to the rocks and be prepared to lose some gear ,try get a spot near the entrance to harbour .

Drop your line down the back of the wall thats were a lot of the fish feed

Thanks a million for the advance lads, worked out brilliant, caught a good few pollock and a nice 1.5-2lbs Wrass!!!!!! Good times!

fished ballymoney strand on sunday night and got about 40 pan sized whitning

, only brought home 4 from my breakie

all caught on rag
