Hi all,
I am brand new to this site, looks good, haven't been fishing in a couple of years and have just taken it back up as it was always something I missed, just dug my ragworm today and am looking to go fishing tomorrow morning, does anybody know where is a good spot for sea fishing on the north side of Dublin where I can use my ragworm????
Please help, I need to catch!
Many thanks

You could try the estuaries (Malahide/Baldoyle) at low tide. Low tide due to the lack of current. However, I suspect lug would be better there. Using rag, I'd either float fish of Howth harbour, or beach fish at sutton/claremont or portmarnock.

Next time you're out that way, try fishing the Wooden Bridge. Fish it a couple of hours before and after full tide. You will always get whiting around the piles and flounder in the channels. Like most places it isn't as good as it was years ago but it can always throw up a good fish every now and then. Coalfish, Codling, Bass, Mullet and Sea Trout can be caught there in their season though if you're after these species then patience will be one of your greatest allies. This is a pedestrian as well as a vehicular bridge so be mindful of the public as it isn't lit. If you put in the hours then you will get fish anywhere in Dublin.
