Agree with Lowie, tie your own, there's loads of rigs on the Internet to copy then tweak them to suit your needs. Always use quality components and practice your knots you don't want them to let you down when you hook that big one

Same as the lads, get your own bits and make your own, as far as I know there are a few diagrams on the site for rigs, also look at what ground you will be fishing, I find if it's med to rough I make my snoods shorter

well they are handy if its a last minute session and your stuck but expensive .I got a few of the greys ones for referance when i started to make my own first . its expensive when you consider 20 euro will get you 8/9 rigs but 20 euro worth of components can make 20 /25 rigs

I have bought a few over the yeard even the well known brand rigs seem to be poor quality.
If you have the time make your own.

If you dont have time you can but lizard rigs from ebay, they are actually very good value in my opinion. If you are unsure just type it into google and you will find loads of vdeos and tips showing you how to make your own. It is the best way to go as you can custom make the snood sizes along with exact rigs for (scratching, rough ground, shorter snoods for rough tides) all these types of rigs for different scenarios should be in everybodys rig box I supose.

I agree. And if you get them directly from http://www.lizardrigs.co.uk/, you have plenty of customization options (they are tied on demand).

Most of the time I use ready made rigs and never had any problem, except their cost...

you can buy quality rigs from a seasoned sea angler http://www.ebay.ie/sch/riggedoutmalc/m. ... 4340.l2562
no complaints about price, quality, shipping etc (less than a euro each) - not sure how he can do it, maybe just a hobby?

your better off maken your own rigs for sure some of the rigs they sell these days are pure junk, go to tackle shop and ask what u need to make your own rigs,it will work out cheaper and you will have good strong end gear that you can rely on time and time again happy days :D

My last fishing session was very quiet, so I dig out some rigs I got in my tackle box to keep me busy and to try different tactics, and I came accross a pulley rig of very good quality. I remember it was made at Shankill Angling Centre (by boycie89 from the forum, I think), while I was waiting. The cost (2 euros) was reasonable compared to the cost of packaged rigs by well known brands.

tie your own man!! 100% if anything fails you gotta work harder on that part of your rig.you will learn fast that way :)
