Left cork city at 8am, couldnt figure out where the slob was so decided to go to ferry point. On the way stopped on the left side of the old bridge to see if i could find some peeler/soft crab, first thing i noticed is all the tyres in front of the rocks, took about 2hours of looking to find a not very many

, most of which were on the small side, all the big ones must of been in the tyres

.
Got to ferry point and was set up by 11.30 on the end facing the town, fished till 3.30.. no bites till after 2 when i started catching crab.
Tried fish with a float for a while no -joy, got talking to a dub bringing his dog for a walk there said previous day two guys fishing the exact spot- one caught a double of a nice cod and a coalfish, told me of a rock mark he fishes.
Was determined to catch something, had loads of mackerel and squid left so headed there, just after dark caught a nice pollack

. Fished till 10.00pm caught nothing else.
