Kenmare can be a tricky bay to catch fish, lots of fresh water going in. If you travel on the Sneem road maybe 6 miles until you come to a lake on the right hand side called lough fada and pass it on for a further 1/2 mile you will come to a small church, there is a lane just before the church on the left hand side leading to a small pier. There are good Bull Huss to be had from this pier as well as Thornbacks and LSD's, that should pass a few hours for ya and all you need is frozen mackerel or squid. Bass and flounder from Coss strand in Templenoe (3 miles from kenmare on sneem road) but 1st nov could be a little late, crab best and left hand side of beach on a flooding tide.

Thanks for the info.
Hopefully I'll get a session or two in.
