Hey,
I've a pair of Shakespeare Chesties, but they are cracked in the grooves in the sole. Tried various glues, to no avail, thinking of using something like Rubber cement, the type garages use to fix tyres, would this work? They're the boot on type, shoulda bought the type with wading boots, we live and learn.
Was thinking of using this stuff

Sorry didn't look at the link but I imagine if you finely chop up the rubber used and mix it with vulcanising compound to make a paste it just might do the job. Best of luck with it.......

Have you tried Black Witch? I used to work in a surf shop and found that it works really well on sealing wetsuits. It says its especially good where rubber is directly bonded together.
Here's a link

ha mate i had the same problem with a pair of sonik waders this year and contacted sonik myself by email , they asked me to send them back and received an email back from them telling me that they had done some check and found the rubber was not up to quailty and they replace them with a new pair.. ...happys days...so might be worth emailing the brand you have.....

Cheers Lads, I used Evo - stik Serious Glue - cleaned down the tears in the heel, then applied a couple of thin layers, gradually building up, and then started puttin thicker layers in , filling the grooves in. Seems to have worked... will test further during the week.
Thanks for all the replies
