Do you folks encounter Bluefish in your waters?

Unfortunately not - I've only ever seen these on the US East coast.
For those unfamiliar with these, they are pure muscle and have razor-sharp teeth, so they're a very lively fish indeed. They hit a lure/bait doing 70MPH - a night's bluefish fishing is really memorable. The ones further south (in Florida) seem to be quite a bit smaller than the summer visitors to Massachussetts, at least that's my experience. If you get a chance to fish for these, definitely take it.

No they tend to be much further south have seen them been caught in Portugal. The seabass we get here are similar to stripers but don't reach the massive size in the USA.
