hello every body im krabs and this is my first post.im living in limerick but originally from bannow and im heading there next week and hope to get a spot of fishing in.

im totally new to bass fishing got my first taste a week before the ban on a camping trip. my friend introduced me to it and im hooked :o i caught one about two pound weight on lug worm and one the next day on a mepp about 3 pound the next morning(much better fun i must say) all rough estimates of course

the ban seemed like forever after getting so lucky the first time and been out twice since it ended with no luck but thats the way it goes im told

anyway, im heading down to see some relatives next wednesday night and hope to get out thursday sometime and would welcome any tips and pointers(relative to lacation or not)

ill most likely use lures and so far have acquired a kilty lure, some spinners and shallow water lures, next on the shopping list is a popper(yozuri mag maybe?) and some rubber shads with the hook already in

if anybody pm's me ill treat it with utmost secrecy and respect, ill be coming from the bannow island side so any info on that location greatly appreciated

hi krabs... fished bannow bay a couple of months back prob a bit early for bass, but we got 2 lovely size flounder in the bay... we fished that sand spit on the east side that sticks out into the bay.. but ive heard the main beach beside the rocks is a good spot...

let me know how you get on cause i hope to go down there again soon
