Most of the beaches down there are throwing up a few fish. There is a beach to the left of the harbour if ye don't want to travel. Check in with joe in the shop when your there for any info on where is fishing the week your there. Smoothies dogs and bass are been got in and around the area at the minute. Happy fishin

I'm not into LRF yet but will offer my two cents. After the floods i couldn't be specific but there were plenty of sand smelt around before the rain. Got them on bait and very small hooks. Flounder over most of the harbour, no monsters but plenty of small ones, v small pollack, whiting, pouting, blennies and scorpion fish in the past on small baited hooks. Anything that has escaped being soup should be on offer if water is clear. Sea trout, eel, small bass a long shot and the faint chance of a mullet as I have had them on maddies. Do well to land a good mullet on LRF gear I reckon have had fish to over 7lb this year. Dead water down the end of the borough might be worth a shot, small trout, flats and odd monster slob brownie.
