Mini species ID

hi lads i need so more help trying to id this fish

Looks like a broad nose pipe fish to me

I think Jonny`s got it bang on..Also known as Deep snouted pipe fish.
At first i thought greater pipe fish but the snout isn`t wide enough

Yeah I recon thats a broadnosed as well. It looks like he may have a brood of eggs on the go too..

thanks for the help lads,Deep snouted pipe fish it is
here are a few more ye might be able to help me with
this lad had a yellow/orange tip on the 1st dorsal fin

Painted Goby, no a very clear picture you might give the lens a wipe of a cloth :lol:
bait fish :?:
Female corkwing the blue markings at the ass is the give away

There is a link somewhere on the site to a booklet by Dave, he'll be a long later :) he might find it and post it

lens needs cleaned!! 100% :lol:

thanks for that donal,when i got home after work the wife had put the young lad down for a nap and fell asleep herself,i left the house in such a hurry i forgot the camera and only had the phone to take photos :( and when we were fishing we were kept so busy i hadn't time to clean the lens :lol:

thanks for the link to the book,when i looked at it i remembered that i bought that book on ebay a few years ago,all i have to do is find it now
