Looks like a broad nose pipe fish to me

I think Jonny`s got it bang on..Also known as Deep snouted pipe fish.
At first i thought greater pipe fish but the snout isn`t wide enough

Yeah I recon thats a broadnosed as well. It looks like he may have a brood of eggs on the go too..

Haha, yeah pretty much!

ger it looks like some sort of trumpet fish to me but i could be wrong

this lad had a yellow/orange tip on the 1st dorsal fin

Painted Goby, no a very clear picture you might give the lens a wipe of a cloth
bait fish
Female corkwing the blue markings at the ass is the give away

thanks for that donal,when i got home after work the wife had put the young lad down for a nap and fell asleep herself,i left the house in such a hurry i forgot the camera and only had the phone to take photos and when we were fishing we were kept so busy i hadn't time to clean the lens
