hi robbie and john, the tides wont be very good for catching pollack near dusk they will be too low and ye will have problems with weed,ye could try the rocks out on the south side of the pier around high tide, cast towards the tower you can see on the rock in the distance,go for a long distance cast and be careful on one of the rocks as the tide surrounds its and if the sea is rough keep off it
if ye are walking toward the white lady spin off any of the rocks and ye should get some smaller pollack

If tides are wrong, you could always try float fishing just above the weeds with mackeral strip or sandeel, or even a jelly worm. Keep lifting and dropping the line through the sliding float so the bait has a bit of life in it. That often tempts the pollock out of their low-tide beds, meantime the wrasse will keep you amused.

the bay should produce some ray for ye tomorrow, there is a bit of freshwater building up,you can see it near the fish farm in the photo but it looks OK where ye will be fishing, the wind is a bit strong but the bay is clam, good luck with the ray hunt
