They are a little heavy not to bad ,savage tripod but come with leg locks, rod bag(tripod bag)which can take two rods and tripod, double cups an trace bar.Another point to make is the leg locks make them excellent in bad conditions and for surf beachs when your moving all the time

great for the winter surf beach and even ledges.heavier due to reason for to withstand harsher conditions.there not these worst to carry but i wouldnt like tio be walkin a mile etc or unless your a big strong fit fella  good tripopd.try see can you get one over here first.they mite cost abit to ship from the uk with the weight.check all this out yourself before purchasing.even better if you knew someone driving over from the uk soon and get them to throw onboard  best of luck gettin it

Couldn't recommend it enough. My Ian Golds standard Tripod was knackered and I was after the Shakespeare Salt one but the tackle shop man sold me on the MTI tripod (got a bit of discount on the £70 asking price)

Its not as heavy as it looks and its as solid as a rock. The only downside i've found is that the Ian Golds Leg rests do not fit as the MTI legs are thicker.

Apart from that, buy it you won't regret it :)
