Breathable chest wader repair

Lads,

some advice please, if you would be so kind ;

I bought a pair of decent chest waders about a year and a half ago, but they are now taking in water at the seams :roll: . Spent 200 dollars on them in vegas, breathable trouser and seperate boots jobbie from one of those Bass pro shops (fishing heaven btw 8) ) They were pretty good and I was well impressed with them up until lately. I filled them with air and checked them under water (bath tub) under pressure, loads of air escaping at certain seams. not impressed :(
I've tried that gel that I got with them that is supposed to stop leaks by filling small gaps, but it didn't work. Wet as an otters pocket leaving the boyne today :cry: .
Has anyone got any tips on repairing this? or am I looking at a new pair of waders?
really liked the look of the link that kstaff posted a while back, bassboots.co.uk. Anyone ever try these? I'd rather spend the money on new line and repair the waders though.

thanks in advance.

Kevin

Kevin,
if the waders are from a renowned manufacturer in the states, they may offer repair/replacement: if they have a stockist in ireland or UK its worth checking out. i have a leatherman that broke last year and it was replaced foc. I know waders are different! but after a years use (unless their totally thrashed) they should not leak at the seams.
