Dingle beach suitable for beginners

Heading down to Dingle this weekend. Some frends of mine who haven't fished much are gonna borrow some rods and fish for a session. Can anyone recomend a beach where wading isn't necessary (they've no waders) and a long cast not necessary? I have waders and plan on getting out for a session on my own at some stage. Does anyone know a reliable way of working out which beaches may have enough of a surf for bass fishing? The winds are 20 km per hr from north west on Fri. Would that throw up enough of a surf for the bass or is it more complicated than that? If I'm wasting my time I'll just stick to the lures so no loss anyhow I suppose

Ventry shouldnt need a long cast and you should be able to pick up a few doggies at least to keep them happy. Minard, especially the rocks to the right hand side dont need a long cast and should produce a few dogs, flats and the odd strap conger. With the wind from the north the Brandon beaches would have the best surf but it wont be much with fairly slack weeds.

An evening lure session around ventry or Minard would be worth a go too.
