Ian golds reel ?

Hi all, I am looking for a bit of advise,

I already have a Ian Golds Extractor rod and a Ian Golds IG8000-surf reel.
It all works great and I am getting a second extractor rod to make a nice pair on the tripod. I am a fair weather fisherman really I suppose, no problem spending all night on the beach but not in cold windy conditions.

Last summer I spent maybe 6 nights out and about 10 half days on the beach so I dont work the gear as often as some of you guys!

I have never used any other "quality" reel for beach fishing and am wondering should I get another IG-8000 or try a Shimano on the second rod?
if so what model?
The reel runs about €100 so thats the budget.

Many thanks.

lets face it if you like the reel already and you have matching rods it would look best with matching reels

I have an International match with a Shimano Aerlex 7000xsa,love the rod and the reel.Should be in youre price range.Planning on getting an extractor myself and matching it with one of those new penn surfblasters but cant find any reviews on the reel.

I know the surfmasters are supposed to be useless but the new surfblaster looks like a better bit of kit.Not gonna buy one until ive heard a bit more about them.

Just to let you know, I went ahead with the Ian Golds reel in the end, getting it from Paul Mason on Wed evening all going well.

So now 2 Extractor setups to bash the doggies with
