Was down there on sat behind the driving range and i must say wat a waste of 7 hours nothing biting at all except the crabs which i pulled 3 nice big ones in. The only good part was i had flounder hooked as i got it to shore it jumped ship, that was the only fish we seen between 3 of us:-( . Be careful wen tide is out theres a rocky bank were i lost a few traces !

have fished north beech few weeks ago its very poor out there now days an the tide is hitting the cliff hard at the suir very dodgy getting back that day

an that beach now is like a tackle graveyard very very snaggy i use to have it sussed out where to cast an not as there was a part of it that was snag free but found that part even snaggy too maybe give the new harbour a bash might throw up some fish

the whole beach has been stripped of sand after a few southerly and easterly storms, their are snags everywhere it will build back up over time but seems very slow at the moment to do so ,i wonder if the new harbour has changed the way currents affect the south beach?the diving board at the end of the rocks hasnt seen water in months and the river area down at the gannons is stripped bare to be honest its the first time i,ve seen how much stone irish rail actually put their after all the damage to the wicklow line some years back ,tons of the stuff

i used to fish greystones when i was a kid,the old sewer pipe was still standing and flowing back then, i always remember a metal guider or someting sticking out of the water at low tide down near the driven range, after awhile it disappered, but only after the storms happened recently its reappered again.... i wondered bout the new harbour n currents myself and i tink it has changed the flow.. but it seems to have improved the fishing round the harbour...
