Just wondering is their anywhere that sells 5oz or 6oz leads cheap.I usually fish rough ground and am going through weights like there's no tomorrow usually 4 or five a session . I don't mind losing the rigs but I'll probably decimate the fish population from lead poisoning so any help would be great .
Thanks

I thought murrays did their plain leads fairly cheap, but having said that was quiet a while back. They also had some grip leads that were useable but not great in rougher weather.

Hi Preston, where are you fishing that you keep losing them? Is it a rough ground Mark?

Hi kstaff ,
Im mainly fishing Monkstown which is fairly rough . I was talking to Donal yesterday and I'd say my casting Isn't quite there yet and I'm not clearing the rocks as I tend to loose more in windy conditions . Being the gent that he is he gave me some leads as well as a few great pointers

.I'd say my knots need work too if i'm honest

How Ya,
you're sorted already so if Domo is on the case.
Sort those knots, practice your casting and keep your rod up high and reel fast down there, a lead lift might help too?
Before Donal mentions it I got snagged myself very recently at De Wall
Good Luck.
