This might sound stupid but do ya use frozen lug the same way as fresh ?

im confused because all the insides seem to be gone from the frozen ones ??

You need a few wraps of elastic around the frozen ones and a lot of the time you only need to use two inches of frozen stuff

I would use about an inch and weave it on putting the hook through the flesh about four or five times and tip off with a bit of Mackerel prime bait for flats.
If you are going to cast your bait a long way it's better if you use elastic thread to save it flying off the hook.

As the lads said just an inch or two. Tipped with Mack or a sliver of squid will hopefully see ya catching in these quiet times.
