your probably best sticking to mono, braid can be a nightmare, especially on a cheap reel due to line lay and fluro isnt really used in saltwater unless its for hook lengths.
buy yourself a spool of suffix tritanium in .35mm. this is a very good line and should cost around €9 for a spool of it. you should be able to fill the reel 3 times out of it so around €3 a fill.

have you tried ultima power steel? its mono / fluro hybrid so to speak easy to handle like mono with lack of stretch of fluoro ? fine for clean beaches but a bit delicate for rough stuff,i was using it till the recession  its a bit pricey :|

anyone else use the ultima power steel ?? need to get new line for my reel when it comes was gonna have a spool of mono and one of braid might ditch the braid for that stuff do but some reviews arent the best ? :? will mainly be beach fishing and the likes of monkstown

edit;most of the reviews of the heavier line are actually quite good :D
