Hi everyone, :D :D

This may sound like i'm insane but i see loads of Bass around 2lb in schoals around the Mulranny area (especially off the pier) but can't seem to catch them!!

I've tried Crab,Rag,Lug,Sandeel,Squid,Shrimp, Berkley gulp,Sidewinders,Poppers,Spinners EVERYTHING :o and only caught 2!! :o :o

Any tips or advice would be Great!! :D

They're Definetly not Mullet since i caught two and they are bass. I know a local man who uses Mackerel and catches them from the pier for his tea. :D :D

Go light, try a slither of mackerel on a size 8 hook float fished, use either a clear bubble or stick float keep any weight away from the hook to allow the bait flow naturally. But watch out for gulls

shoals of mullet often have a bass or two tagging along for a dander thats prob why you have only gotten two when their appears to be bucket loads of em ?
