Hi lads, im making a trip to kerry on the 23rd of september, il be staying in castleisland but will drive anywhere, could anyone point me to an area that i would pick up a few ray or basically as many species as possible, fishing the east coast north of Dublin all summer and only have flats and bass for my efforts.

Well I would not be complaining about getting a few Bass wish it was better where I am in kerry.

Anyway, the best reports I have heard are in Dingle harbour. Off the beach in Beenbane (http://g.co/maps/7ruum )

Or around the stretch between, Skelligs hotel and Ballintaggart. (Parkup in the Skellings and walk about 1.5K along there, at low tide great place for bait).

Do you mean Reenbeg rather than Beenbane? Beenbane is the small little beach below the carpark, didnt realise ray showed up from there.

Plenty from Reenbeg though IMO
