Dont think it is mate. Could be wrong though. Sure if ya get stopped just say your tent is your beach buddy to keep you sheltered from the glorious summer we're having...

Found nothin on WCC site about the beach not being legal to camp on.........but locals are give out about litter and mess and unattended camp fires seemingly in May there were some dunes badly burnt, best thing to do is show the locals SAI fishermen give a damn and leave the place better then ya found it ;)

thanks Tight line for recommending this little gem . had an amazing night . plenty of room to fish. started fishing at 9pm and finished up about 2.30am . we caught what we think were some flounder as someone told us but he wasnt too sure. also reeled in 2 dogfish noting major , small enough .we camped on the beach for the night which was grand . bit of a rough sleep . need to invest in an inflatable mattress. cleaned up whatever rubbish we had and a few bits we seen around the place.

we will definitely be heading back down there soon enough .

a man was trying to catch some mackerel down there but i heard mackerel don't be around them parts

Theres a couple of nice self inflatable mattress, then theres the air beds as well, I have a self inflatable (its the flat sort paid about €30 for it, keeps you off the damp ground) my Mrs says I could sleep on a rock and think its comfortable so ya probably better offf with an airbed!! :D
