Hi lads,
after been laid up for months eventually felt up for a session.I hit ballybranigan but totally unfishable with weed all along the beach .Don't be fooled it looks very fishy but not worth the effort. On the other hand garryvoe despite been weedy it is fishable! 8)
Tight lines

Had a quick walk with the dog today down garryvoe way and ive never seen so much weed right across the bay.Looked very heavy and id imagine would make fishing very hard.

I tried a beach on the other side of ballycotton tuesday night and it was horrendous, lots of small floating weed that quickly became a huge clump on the trace and had the rod buckled. Moved to ballycotton pier instead and had plenty of tiny whiting mixed with the odd dog and small eel
