No probs my fellow midleton man.Unfortunately you don't always need storms to make the east cork beaches unfishable due to weed.
Oh by the way im chilled enough at the minute thanks ,my heating is broken :cry:

Youghal (Green Park) was ok for fishing tonight about 2h before and after the high tide.

ballywilling ok up to an hour before high water 30/11 and fish there too :lol:

specimen 2013 16 golden grey mullet, 1 scad, 1 red gurnard.

ferrypoint absolutely brutal with weed never saw anything like it.casting in the main channel

youghal harbour is relatively weed free youghal beach is clear of weed

Lads is ferrypoint and youghal harbor/beach still clear of weed
Species 2012: Flounder, Whiting, Dublin Bay Codling, Coalie, 3 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Bass, Dogfish, 5.2lb Starry Smoothhound (PB), Twaite Shad, Thornback Ray 5.8lbs (PB), LSD, Pollock, Ballan Wrasse, Cork Wing Wrasse, 43cm Flounder (PB)

Species 2013: Coalie, East Coast Codling, Smoothounds, And hopefully a back opp to get back fishing soon...

don't know how you got on fishing wise,but just to let you know ballybranigan and ballycroneen were very heavily netted in the latter end of the year just in case your fishing was pi.. poor.

Anyone know how the east cork beaches are for weed or fish? Thinking about garryvoe area or maybe youghal beach.

Youghal harbor was very bad with the weed on the rise and worse on the drop going out with the very fast current. :cry:
