plenty of weed on ballyhealy after few days of SW winds - fishable only if casting 40m and holding rod high, touch the weed zone and line sunk instantly - that stringy stuff

went to rosslare then - not as much weed, but baits being masked on the hooks - not ideal
needs a few days to break up

Tried Fishin' a couple of times this week.
All the way from Kilcoole to north beach in Wicklow.
WEED,WEED everywhere.Gave up 3 days in a row,weed
covering the trace and lost a few weights as a result.
The weed itself is small pieces of fine weed and the
loooonnngggg "shoelace" type weed".
Gripper weights wouldn't hold the bottom either.

was out last night rostoonstown - heavy weed on the up on Hw mark on beach - not too bad fishing with the one rod high up ion close
out further non starter bait covered in 5 mins
but the coming bigger tides will bring the weed on the beaches into play
