went to ballyhealy last night for a few hours. no weed worth talking about. lovely surf but no fish! crab, lug, mac, squid. maybe tonight will be more settled and bring the fish in

Greystones South Beach had heavy weed on it this evening. Not really possible to fish at all. Had to give it up after 3 casts. :(

south beaches fishable up till now.winds change weed changes concentration onshore.all im saying is the southern shores are easier to predicet than the eastern...ie very few eastern winds .all im saying is try reading the weather /winds yourself and report back if you fished the area....just seems this site is going a bit stale ........pity with the price of fuel these days... :oops: :oops: :oops: :cry: :cry: :cry: :shock:

5 mile point small bit of weed coming in patches well fishable and a few fish aswell 25/3/12 fished the rise

Newcastle full of weed last night :evil: made a move to southbeach greystones, weed free here, fishing slow enough with me having 2 whiting 1 dog and a treble shot of flounders8) and har 1 whiting and 1 flounder in two hours :wink:
Species Target (1) Anything will be a Bonus.

wasn,t fishing but a lot of weed at waters edge after the last few days of storms
