portmuck-cobins and area

Looking info on when to fish this area and how think it is bill raves about here so if about help with tips and when to fish.

Looking info also on how to find the cobbins path as i have tried and failed. thinking of fishing from one end to the other end say browns bay in one day rock hopping so is there a list of marks worth trying along waterfront

from Carrickfergus follow the coast road to larne missing the turnoff for whitehead (the one that takes u to the promenade).....
stay on this road and take the 1st turning on the right,follow this road over the estuary upto the junction,go straight over the junction upto the next junction (vivo will now be in front of you)......
turn right and follow this then take the first turning on the right-this takes u up gobbins road.
follow this road for about a mile and a half/2 miles and there is a layby on the left hand side of the road (make sure u stop on the 2nd layby).
there is a path on the opposite of the road (walk down to the farmhouse then turn right down another path,now youll come to a memorial stone-turn left and follow that down on to rocky bay,walk along that and up the 1st lot of steps,you will now be on the cliff face......
be very careful walking this path as it is very slippy in some places,and if u want shelter,there is a dugout that we use for,it will keep the rain and wind off you.

Does it fish at this time of year and what would you suggest using and what sort of fish to target

i fished it yesterday (27th)....
baits used were mac/rag and sandeel,but only one fish was caught all day,even though we kept changing tactics it still didnt work,maybe we just had a bad day i dont know,but it is pretty deep,im very suprised that we didnt get any wrasse there as below u there is rocky points where they tend to congregate.
not sure if we are going back there but if u catch anything let me know.
