First does anyone know off a good beach that fishes in daylight and whats about. Or any mark that is good to spinn at the moment.
Also any and all info on portrush marks how to find them and if you can beachcast of these marks and what is the bottom like.

one of the best marks in portrush is the harbour wall out towards the sea could turn up anything,at the minute there are plenty of makerel about at most marks in portrush.the bottom is all sand except for about 30 yards out from the breakwater,if you have a fast retrieve reel like a penn525 or sl20 you will have no trouble fishing it.species dogs ,gurnard ,whiting, pollock ,coalies conger and huss maybe odd ray or codling.

throw in the scad, flounder dabs and plaice as well!this is the north facing(back wall) of the harbour, not the one at the beach side pookie.hook the fish and wind like hell!!
lansdowne rocks(at the BIG cark park) should throw up plenty of wrasse- rough ground though.
the last i heard blue pool wasnt fishing great

Iam following this too.
Would you suggest beach gear or spinning for these marks. also whey wind like hell? iam also lost as to rough 30yrds out but is this a distance casting mark or should a person only cast short lobs and what baits work

you wind like hell to get you and the fish in over the dense kelp bed at the breakwater ,as the man said it,s no use fishing where the fish arnt there.that is the only problem getting back in over the dense kelp bed but if you have a fast retrieve reel it can be done no problem.

the heavier end of beach gear for bottom fishing, just cast it as far as you can to avoid weed.hook the fish and keep on reeling to avoid them diving into the weed beds at your feet
normal spinning rod etc will suffice for a bit of sport at mackerel etc use small greenfish type spinners etc
