east coast bass

Are bass put off by all the bits and bobs on flounder rigs,or if there is a rig which i cud get both species,where i fish getting anything is a result,so id like to cover all angles ,but i most likly will get flats but theres the odd bass caught,its shallow so its wade out move back as tide comes in so i use one rod
for handeness any help wud be greatly appreciated

I don't use attracters on most of my rigs and still catch plenty of bass and flounder ... A two hook rig either flapping or clipped with long snoods and size 1/0 hooks and fresh peeler as bait will put you in line for either species.... Hope this helps

I'v had a few Bass on rigs with beads for targeting flounder also had a mullet on the same rig(1up1down with about 2 ft snoods) hope this helps

Thanks for the advice lads,mite try a toned down flounder rig,or leave one of the snoods bare cheers

I dont really think so, i would pay more attention to the tides, weather and wind direction first rather than picking a great rig and fish a flat calm, cold, easterly driven neap tide..! :-)
