North Clare shore marks as gps gpx file?

Hi,

I'm new to this forum and before I start my request I like to thank everybody who contributes content into this forum. :)
I found so much information and it was so helpful for me. I'm new to the angling in ireland, too ... so thanks a lot.
Allthough I'm not new to sea angling in general.

I'll stay five days near Ballyvaughan in the next week and I'm preparing myself for fishing from the coast.
I found informations about rigs, species, tactics and the "North Clare Angling Map", which shows a lot of shore marks. I checked up some videos about coast angling in ireland and I found an interresting INFOMAR bathymetry map.

I don't know if it's ok to bombard you all with a bundle of questions here in one thread.
Please let me know, if I should split them up.

Q1: I read about a gps mark database in some threads. Where do I find this database or does anybody provide the marks as gpx file? If it doesn't exist, I will generate a gpx file for the marks from the map - not so accurate (:-). I don't know if this will help someone else.

Q2: I know, that it's a bit early in the season. I would like to start my coast angling at black head/ballyreen. There was another thread about the question if mackerels are actually available. Are there some marks which are better in early season? Or is it not predictable, which marks works best at the end of April?

Sorry for my english, I think it should better. I'm from Germany.

Thanks

Ralf

there was a competition on blackhead at the weekend - only 3 or 4 small pollack were caught - it would be best to avoid this mark at least until darkness

Uh .. this is a bit disillusioning. What bait should I use in the night for spinning?
I planed to use complete frozen sandeels hooked up. Is it better to attach a special "night attractor" on the bait like glowing parts?
Well if I think like a fish .. blub blub .... at night the sandeels don't turn the lights on either

7 days left ... I hope some fish will then be there.

Thanks for your answer

Ralf

i dont think there were any lure caught mackeral either so it might be best to buy some mackeral and use them as bait - by all means spin your sandeel but have another rod with a bait on the bottom

you should pick up coalies at least with this tactic at night
