I had a lesson from saltydog - and pm'd RockHunter for some advice..
Now its crunch time - Bite detection.
So....
A - Do I watch the tip of the rod.
B - Hook up a bell
C - Hook up a bell watch the tip then learn to judge a bite.
Will say a public thank you for lessons in attaching bait - and advice on weights depending on chop... (cant forget gullies either).
Thanks in advance

i just watch for bites, most of the time you will notice a bite especially when its not windy but sometimes the wind can make it look like a bite, but you will get to know a bite after a while. if you are night fishing use reflective tape on the top of your rod and you will be able to see the tip properly. hope this helps
