I use the F2 and have done so for the past 2 years, great rod, super slim blank and excellent casting and bite detection. Never any problems, for me its the ultimate Match Rod. Gerry's of Morecombe will make up the rod whatever way you like, he puts a lovely finish on them.

I just measured the tip and its is exactly 3.5mm. Mark, its no way a thick blank at all, especially in comparison to some conoflex and daiwa blanks. Its defo one of the slimest blanks I have seen and used. You are more than welcome to take a cast of mine before forking out on one. Its well able to handle trebble shots of doggies, my biggest fish on it was a 12lb thornie and no problems at all!
