yep, very pleased with it...the thinner you cut the strips when you are putting it on the better the finished product looks..tartish I know.

Hi Al,
Found the Sakuma stuff to be the best around although others may disagree.
http://www.basstastic.co.uk/sakuma-tip-tape-1107-p.asphttp://www.nesa.co.uk/forums/shore-fish ... -tape.htmlHowever, I was up at a truck stores place a while ago getting some reflective tape for the back of a vehicle - it looks exactly the same as the sakuma stuff both to the naked eye and in darkness with a headlamp on it so I'd say its probably made by the same manufacturer.
Only cost me €12 for 3 metres, I have some left over, pm me your address I'll stick some in the post to you - see what you think.
The truck store place had it in amber, red and silver I think.

halfords also do a small range of reflective tape €5.99 for a decent size roll, there was three different colours and its slightly stretchy unlike some of the others which tend to tear when your putting it on and is very reflective

I find coating the Tip Tape with Clear Varnish after you put it on the Rod adds to the reflectiveness and insures it lasts a long time.

got some solas tape

you can see it miles away, container ships keep landing next to me

Any sign maker will have reflective vinyl for signs, it'll be as good if not better than what you'll buy in a shop, and unless they are really tight they should charge little or nothing for trimming you off a strip it, they may even have some waste lying about they'd be willing to part with. I also give it a few coats then will nail varnish as Labyrinthfish has said.
