try using some detergent powder with nothing but fairy liquid in it. makes a paste that I have found useful before. Just scrub your hands with the paste.

an oul fella showed us a trick last year to avoid the yellow stains on your hands from lug on a beach last year. after baiting up get a hand full of wet sand from the surf and wash your hands with it and the sea water rubbing your fingers togeather. takes the best part of it away without the need for chemicals

Washing up liquid and sugar together does the trick for me.
