Cork/Kinsale

Am heading down to cork for 4 days for work and would like to get in a few hours fishing.

I would be grateful if anyone could suggest a local beach mark close to kinsale also is it possible to dig lug local?

Hi Frank2, i lived in Kinsale for a few years and your better heading to garretstown or cork harbour/cobh or if you want to journey, head on round to courtmacsherry. As for lug i would bring my own. Maybe some of the more experienced anglers will advise ye better but i always had a bit of luck with the above areas. Goodluck...

Yeah, I'd be up for that- haven't been down that way since Christmas. Don't need to bother with the lug, razor seems to do the trick down there as well usually if you want to save yourself some digging.

Have had a pm from shamieboy so might hook with him on Sunday eve and fish where ever he suggests.

Will frozen razor work?

frozen razor is fine, but don't let me put you off digging lug if you want some - I'd use it as well if I had time/inclination to dig.
